5 Stick Herf-a-Dor

Got one of these a while back. Ive noticed an odd (chemical like?) smell coming from it... even after a few months. I figured that this may be from the foam inserts. Ive left it open to air out for weeks... still holds that smell. Any thoughts?

Mine has the same thing. I have had it for 6 months and it still smells. I have had sticks in it with a pillow for 4-5 days and did not notice any change in them.

Sounds good, so long as any smells and such arent transferring over... im happy.

You could try stuffing it with newspaper for a day or so, that will usually get rid of odors.

I have 2 and neither one smells. I do not use the puck in it though. My cigars are well maintained and the case seals. My travels are short and the smokes get smoked within 16 hours. I will keep an eye out for this though.

Take the foam out and see if it is the foam that's the culprit? If so, you could probably wash the foam.
