Trident's Viaje stand (pic)

Oh my! Just looking at those makes me nervous. I'll be honest, I've messed up a few.stands already. Although I'm always up for a challenge, I'm only human and it would be a shame if I were to ruin those.

Also, I noticed the ends. You will lose the 13 and OpusX as I'll have to wrap the ends around the stand. To me it would take away the look of the band as a whole.

I start with a white SS. First I paint it using a high quality aerosol paint (I don't know if it's actually better or just more expensive. Ha!). Then I"ll use an adhesive (anything would work really) for the band. Then I shoot it with a clear triple glaze enamel. Once it cures, I'll shoot it with a few coats of clear high heat egine enamel. It's a lot of work but I enjoy making them.
