Just did my first nub stand! Was smoking a Fonseca Serie F Robusto and it was a pretty tight pack so I decided I'd try it and it actually worked, I was pretty amused haha.. Took a pic on my phone but I can't get it to send to my computer, anyone got pics of their nub stands?

Does it have to be a Nub? Here's a 5 Vegas Miami doing a pretty good job of standing on a glass-topped table on my patio.
And, when ya think about it, it's holding up a lot more weight than a Nub that's been smoked down to the band.

no it doesnt have to be a nub haha mine was a fonseca serie f, nice stand! -
Here's a shot of my first one...
I actually scooted the band up a bit, so it would be burnt right to the band if I hadn't. -
Every time I try, I end up with ash all over. So now I dont bother. Maybe on my next nub!
