Amazing stick, there were no hard spots in it but it felt like a solid cigar when you help it in your hand. The pre-draw was great and when i light it up the draw was even better. One of the best drawing cigars i have had. The flavor was great a lot of cedar it was a great smoke. My friend smoked one too and agree with me. Great stick i suggests you get at least a couple even though they are a little more expensive they are great. I like the maddie a lot more then the regular v, but thats just me.

it was the 2010, i just ordered a box and let me sit for a day and then just had to smoke one to try it i wanna see these with some age on them.

Looking forward to trying one sometime. I'm not surprised at your assessment of the draw,Oliva's are always flawless in that department in my experience

They are different. Similar blend as far as my palate can tell, but the 2010 utilizes a Mexican San Andres maduro where the 09 is a Connecticut broadleaf maduro. Overall the two are somewhat similar, but I'd give the edge to the 10 as I thought it had a greater depth of flavor and complexity, not that either one is overly complex.

I have 3 left from a box of '08s but I haven't tried the '09s or '10s. Need to see if I can find some of both somewhere.

I had the 2010 Maduro the other day and was sadly disappointed. It just didn't do anything for me. Very one dimensional. Not a flavor bomb like the original. I like the regular Serie V better.

I have one of the 2010 maduro sitting the humi picking up a bit of age. I'll have it soon enough when the mood strikes me. Hopefully it is better than the mixed reviews I'm hearing on here haha

Do you mean the V maduro? I smoked an 08, 09, then the 10 the same day and though the 08 is a good stick I do like the 09 more with the 10 taking the prize. I do agree that the V natural is a great cigar but one thing I noticed about the 08 is that is a stronger cigar where the 10 is lighter but much more flavorful. I know time will tell but just my .02 cents.

Yea sorry...It's a V maduro i just bought recently. Hence the 2010. Guy's talk about earlier years so I figured following the V theme i'd toss in the 2010 just to mark the years. sorry for the confusion.

Yes. The V Maduro. I didn't care for it at all. I never tried the 09 or 08 for comparison, but based solely on comparison the natural V, I prefer the natural.
