Help with the HERF-A-DOR travel humidor

Hey guys, I just bought the herf-a-dor travel humidor from this site and i'm waiting for it to arrive, does anyone have experience with these? If so, do you think its an ok humidor to store cigars in for a long period of time? I travel very often and sometimes its for 2-3 weeks at a time and i need something reliable while i'm traveling. Thanks a lot for your help!

    As long as you make sure it is properly humidified, I see no reason why it could not store cigars for at least 2-3 weeks or more. Enjoy.

    get a tube of beads from heartfelt industries. that will keep the thing at the right RH all the time. the seal is so good on those things that im sure it will keep a good RH. I have two of them (5 ct and 15 ct) and never had a problem with either

    I have a buddy that uses one as an overflow humi all the time. Works great for him. I'm with kuzi though get some beads for it.

    Ok great, I appreciate the info. I would like to get a 15ct to, where did you get yours kuzi?

    holiday pass a few years ago.

    i think cigar.com sells them though.
