I have been waiting patiently for quiet some time to smoke my first Partagas 1845 Limited Reserve.
When cut the first thing I noticed was An extremely tight draw. Upon finally getting the cigar lit I was met with A bitterness that I didn't expect to say the least.
I know my humidity is spot on. My temperature is always in range. So my question is this.
Has anyone else had similar problems with these cigars?

The Partagas 1845 along with the Macanudo maduro and a few other heavy wrapper maduro need some drybox time. I keep my ready to smoke box at 62% and still drybox macanudo maduro for a day at least. The wrapper should be solid but give a little before you smoke it. Otherwise the draw will be very difficult.
