So I herf'ed some folks last night after my nephew's 1st Bday. I ended up throwin the Padron's in my herf to some brothers of another leaf. I watched one puff and cough...threw out the warning...but he was "just trying to taste it bro, I smoke all day." Couple more coughs, couple more warnings, and the American Standard came calling lol!
It was pretty darn funny I must say and in the end he actually came back and went for the rest of the stick. Pure comedy for the "iron lung" as he called it.

Ive had a friend do that. He is from Cuba and he says in my country we inhale our cigars. I was like OK!, don't say I didn't warn you.
Next thing you know he quietly got up and went to the bathroom and was in there for awhile.

Poor pukey ignorance. They will soon learn, lol!!0

He came back to finish it?! Usually once they blow chunks...they are done. Pretty impressive to come back and smoke the rest of the stick!0
-
gotta hand it to him, at least he came back and finished it!0

I've had a guy ask for a puff, and I felt friendly so I agreed. After coughing his brains out he looked at me and said it was good! Haha. I told him that you typically don't inhale cigars, as i had noticed his apparent lack of experience... but the closet connoisseur confidently replied, "Well, I do."
So there you have it. Inhaling while cigar smoking must add a macho twist; it especially catches the attention of the ladies... as you projectile vomit onto them.0 -
They were 1926's...so yeah he had to come back and finish the damn thing! I had the Oval and a Patel 1990 so he had plenty of time to catch up. Good times, not waht the bonger's were expecting.0

When I was a kid I asked my dad if I could have a cigar and he agreed but I had to smoke it in front of him and inhale the whole thing. I didn't realize it was a ploy to discourage me from smoking. After about half of the stick I headed to the bathroom to worship at the porcelain alter of RALLPH.0

I'll admire anyone that comes back after the "Puking Rally"0

i noticed a few of you mentioning that you were asked by a friend to try your cigar.
they must have been really close friends and/or not into cigars much at all.
i seem to remember it being poor etiquette to ask to puff off another persons cigar.0 -
I'd have a hard time letting someone drink out of my glass. Don't know if I could let someone take a pull of my cigar.0

yeah... my wife's ignorant friend from across the street was over a few weeks ago... they came in my office while I was smoking to "hang-out" aka giggle and get on my nerves... well she looks at me and says "give me a puff of that, I've always wanted to try a cigar... is that a swisher or something?". It was a LP T52.kuzi16:i noticed a few of you mentioning that you were asked by a friend to try your cigar.

the look on my face must have told the story, because before words even came out of my mouth, my wife looked to her and says "bad form, Courtney! First off, he doesn't smoke sh!t like that, secondly, that cigar would probably kill you" LMAO0 -
Smack down for Courtney lol.0

As for me, the term friend is used loosely. I am willing to bet that was the first and last taste of a premium cigar this guy will have.kuzi16:i noticed a few of you mentioning that you were asked by a friend to try your cigar.

Yeah, i would never ask for a puff off of anyone else's gar, but I figured he'd leave quicker if I played along.0 -
