I have a xikar and I am wondering for my new cabinet what easy to use and dang good hygrometers there are out there. Even that Xikar caused me a little trouble calibrating. Any stick out to you?

Xikars are great, i have two in my tower and one humi-care. Try a humi-care (blue ones)...they are great too.

D@mn dude, dont know what happened here, but Im sorry you had to wait so long for a response! From everything Ive gathered, the ROUND Xikar seems to be widely recognized as the best without spending a ton of money on one. With their one-touch calibration system and a boveda calibration pack, calibration is a snap, and they're supposed to hold their calibration spot-on for a long, long time.

    Hope this helped! :-D
