I don't even know why I try to budget cigars. Between free falls, sprints, the beard and his emails, new b&m's and you clowns, my "budget" is usually blown to kingdom come by the 3rd of the month...0

My wife and I have a pretty solid system:
We both have our paychecks direct deposited into our personal accounts and then transfer the vast majority into the joint account. I keep ~$400 a month to myself and I'm sure its similar for her. So I have that much to do with however I please for the month. Works out very well.0 -

I don't know what my budget is, I just know it's not nearly as high as my actual spending over the last 4 months...0

Here's how my budget goes...
me: hey baby, are all the bills paid?
my wife: yeah, why?
me: I just bought another box of cigars
my wife: where you gonna put em?
me: I'll find room, they are REALLY good cigars and it was a GREAT deal
my wife: that's what you always say
me: did you enjoy your weekend at the lakehouse?
my wife: yep!
me: that's great honey. what's for supper?
And that's how we stay happy. By supporting each other's happiness.0 -

in 2008 and 2009 I was spending between $300 and $800 a month. I have slowed down since then but there is once in a while where I spend a good amount. However, I have been trying really hard to keep my budget low. Not that I am engaged and pretty much paying for the wedding myself I guess my budget should be non-existent. With that being said, I have between 1600-1800 cigars and in reality that should last me years.0

Shoot. CatFish got me hooked on the joy of bombing, and now the budget is all out the window. If I don't put the brakes on this bus, it's going off the cliff here soon.0
