Hey guys I think my humidor is finally set, I calibrated my hygrometer. My humidor seems to be sitting at 68 RH. Now my cigars I think are slightly dry, so should I just let them rest for like two weeks before touching them?

That would be best yes.0

Ok minor issue now with humidor. The RH was holding at 70, then dropped over the past few days to 64%. My cigars are in there, so what should I do? Take them out and try to season it more?

I wouldn't fret too much. could have dropped for many reasons. if it keeps dropping then I'd be worried but it will flux a bit.0

Agreed. Mine fluxs between 67-71 depending on the time of day. What also helps(and sucks) is not looking in it so much. I know, I know, i'm the same way...every few hours you just wanna open it up and check the RH or rearrange ao take inventory or stare longingly....smiling.... or that could just be me(ahem)0

Ya my Rh is holding strong at 64 right now, there are 7 cigars in it right now that were semi dried out as is. So should I just smoke through them or put them somewhere else and re season it? Wonder if its just that tube thats in there? I might try re calibrating the hygrometer tonight also to make sure its right on.

a humi will hold better RH if it is on the fuller size.0
