OK here is the deal, you pick the stick and I smoke it along with a mini review. Tonight's selection is a mix of things I have never smoked and know little to nothing about.......

Odds n Ends selection for tonight:

1. King Havano Oscuro
2. Graycliff Avelino Lara 80th
3. Padilla Cazadores

Crap shoot Wednesday..... When you pick one let me know if you had it before and/or if you know anything about it.

THANKS !! Vote early and often !!

The King Havano is a pretty solid smoke. I had one... I am pretty sure it was the oscuro. Just a good maduro taste, nothing super amazing, but I would buy a few more on sale.

    Mini Review - Padilla Cazador - Toro Gordo - 6 x 60

This is one big stick. Prelight lick a bit of leather taste. Cut and prelight draw continued the leather flavor. Had to light with a torch...... windy out tonight.

This sucker is a big RG and was a little hard to get going right. Not a lot of smoke but a nice spice and leather taste. Took about an inch to get the burn right and it mellowed out nice. Continued to be light on the smoke but lots of unique flavors.

    image

Second half increased smoke and burn was a little off with a couple of touch ups needed. Might be due to the wind. Flavors continued and while this is a different flavor than I am used to I liked it. I would rate this as medium strength. Not a great smoke but not bad. Overall my simple rating is 3 out of 5. For a big stick I was expecting 2 hours but it lasted 1 hour and 30 min. I did get some visitors again tonight.

Thanks again for a nice pick.... tomorrow I will do the Graycliff if time permits.
