Only got about halfway through before the rain started, and that really didn't break my heart.

I originally grabbed an AF 858 SG that I picked up from a B&M recently. Sadly, when I pulled off the cedar, it was covered in mold :( So instead, I finally decided to light this puppy up. Lee sent it to me nearly a year ago. The review I read at that time suggested giving it some time to reduce the harshness. Unfortunately, it was still there. Outside of that harshness, it was pretty good. Thanks Lee for the opportunity to try this cigar! IMAG0210

Had an Alec Bradley Maxx the Fixx last night. It had been sitting in the humi for probably at least 1.5 years - I hadn't been in a hurry to try it because I never really saw much good press about it. But let me tell you, I absolutely loved it! Not overly complex, but a great maduro that was right in my wheelhouse. I'll def be on the lookout for a deal on these - they need a place in my humi.

Yeah man, that thing was fantastic - thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to try one! I still have the second one. Since they're obsolete I can't bring myself to smoke it! Will probably save it for a special occasion. I actually looked at it last night but said 'nah, not gonna burn it on a random Tuesday night!'

Are you kidding? Random Tuesday nights are the best for smoking great sticks. Seriously, I seem to be able to focus more on the stick when kicking back on the deck on a random afternoon rather than at events or special occasions.

Are you sure? I see the regular Nub maduro, but not the Double Maduro. It was a limited Studio Tobac release. I didn't think they are making them anymore. Hope I'm wrong....
