Hi! I have come across a box of cigars while cleaning a basement out. The brand is named El Dallo, manufactured in the district of maryland. The date on the stamp is from the twenties. There are nine wrapped smokes in the box. They look good enough to light up. I dont know any thing about cigars. Any info is welcome .

What are you wanting to know,, The Cigars are past their prime If they ever had one, The box will be a nice keepsake but, Neither one is worth much,,,, monetarily speaking.

Wow, that is a pretty neat find! I'm sure some googling could find info on the Brand, but any cigar that old with no humidification is likely waaaay to dry and would burn like a torch if lit and probably not taste too good either.

I couldn't imagine that they would be what we considered smoke able. A person could probably smoke them but all the oils in it have been lost long ago. Wouldn't taste much different if you raked up some dried leaves and smoked them.
