This 6.5×52 torpedo stick offered a silky smooth natural wrapper, giving tons of smooth rich smoke at every draw. Draw was loose but worked perfectly, with an almost razor sharp burn all the way down. Smoke time to the band was 2 hours, very impressive for a $5 stick! Body was mild-medium while flavor was near full strength – very deceptive! Flavors were a smooth wood with a black pepper bite to the first half, transitioning to a hazelnut and slight menthol-like experience and a milder pepper on the finish for the last half.

For anyone who has not tryed the Pinar del Rio, grab one as they are excellent. My favorite is the sungrown.

This has me pretty excited, I have a sampler of the Pinar del Rio's coming. They were a freebie, so I really didn't think they would be very good.
