While standing behind my bar one evening smoking a cigar, I realized that I had some unused real estate which would make a perfect built in humidor.
Ordered some 1/4 inch spanish cedar and started to line the inside
Little rusty on the woodworking skills, but spared all my fingers
I built some racks to hold Boveda packs on the top
Doors are lined with cedar for a friction fit. Seems to hold humidity well so far.
Finished product
Now I have a reason to get some more cigars. Can't have all of that empty humi space. Have to watch the Sprint sale for some post holiday deals.

I have the same vodka and I have not opened it for 5 years...don't know why.
Good catch on using that space. -
Nice project. Looks like a little extra space down there at the bottom to be filled also..

Yes, that is Phase II. The top part is holding humidity great with just the Boveda packs and getting that awesome smell of cedar and tobacco. Reminds you of a walk in humi every time I open the door. I have a box or two in there now and some sticks I want to let age a little bit. Still use my desktop humis for day to day smokes, but look to store some for the warmer smoking season.dandin1:Nice project.
