    I hear ya bro - never could figure out why it was designed like this - think it would be just as easy to make it fit both ways.
    But you know what's worse ---- VGA cables. I always end up bending the pins then having to bend them back with pliers. stupid.

    Me too. Almost. At least that's what I was thinking when I wrote the question. And I was gonna write something more specific but then I read it again and thought. Eh. "Let 'em have fun with it".
