Anyone noticed that lately when you quote someone, it adds extra page breaks?

Not sure what page breaks are but now I'm curious.

You know when you put the <br> in the post after a sentence or line?
A few of the quotes have developed another <br> causing there to be an extra space between the lines.
It doesn't seem to be every time either. Not sure why.

Well, turns out I know about page breaks but just didn't know that's what they were called. LOL

I've never noticed it not putting the breaks in there. Unless maybe it's after there are a ton of quotes in one post, and this 1742 forum software gets confused.

Just check out the text in the message box when you quote him. It shows exactly what he did.

LOL! It's an old HTML trick.
In the days of old forums that used html, those of us who created forums would use it to post info.
Oh wait, this forums still does. LOL!
&-l-t-; creates the less than symbol (no dashes of course) and the &-g-t-; makes the greater than symbol.
There are a ton of things that can be done with the ampersand symbol to create symbols, spaces and such in html.
