It's a 1966 with a 200ci straight 6. Body and interior restored about 10 years ago and the motor was rebuilt 40k ago.

Nice, I was thinking 65-67, but I couldn't place it.LiquidChaos66:It's a 1966 with a 200ci straight 6. Body and interior restored about 10 years ago and the motor was rebuilt 40k ago. -

Congrats, she's a beaut! Are you gonna keep the six or look for a 289?
-
Honestly... i think i may just stick with the straight 6.... build it up into the sprint six that the mustangs used to come with.
-
I HATE YOU!!!! Lol

It was a long 12 years since i lost my first car (my 66 mustang). I was in love with everything about that car... even if there were mechanical and cosmetic issues. But it was mine and it was fun. I drove all over yesterday and instantly fell in love with this one. Its not fast, it has great tone to the exhaust and there is something just plain awesome about having that huge hood in front of you!

Awesome! I'm glad you got it!

That looks like a lot of fun.

I went to the plaid pantry behind my work... Almost drove. Lol! I've got my eyes on headers, new intake manifold, cobra style air cleaner and valve covers. Dress her up a bit.
