Brown Heartfelt Bead

Any idea why a few of my heartfelt beads have turned this rust color brown. The casing is stainless steel so it shouldnt be rust but that is the best color I can describe it. I only use distilled water so I'm not crazy concerned and there looks like only maybe 3 or 4 beads that have changed this color but still would like to know why this happened.

Its normal. They will still work. Some say that they are stealing oils from the cigars. However, beads take moisture out of the air. Oils don't really eveporate.0
