I'm so freaking bored writing my thesis and debugging matlab so I decided to do a speed test of my work/school internet. It's kinda crazy....
Now I know my home internet isn't close but it isn't bad so I'll post that in a few hours. Post up guys!! I want to see what the speeds are like around the forum and in different places.

My home internet, can't wait until SoCal gets google fiber or one of the other gigabit providers... When I was a consultant I had the pleasure of working on servers at One Wilshire in downtown LA, largest internet hub in the western hemisphere, the company I did work for had 3 OC192 cross connects in their cage. I could never get enough of that bandwidth... -
Use Speakeasy and Speedtest, usually around 20, but that is all I pay for.

This is from my backyard shed through an emta, router, and range extender. In the house it's generally around 45-50 Mbps down 10-12 up.
