Curious to hear what you think of them. Talked to a DE rep at a local cigar event tonight and he didn't have much good to say about them.

That sounds really good right now. Wish I wasn't at work.

Kinda sad to hear a DE rep didn't have good opinions about them... but hey to each their own taste.

Glad to see I'm not crazy (or very bad at tasting) on the thinking they almost seem infused. I've been trying to avoid alcohol during the week, not due to a drinking issue, but due to a trying to lose weight issue, but I'm thinking maybe we'll try another tonight. Imperial Stout was the one I had as well. Tonight will be Porter since the others are probably still floating around a mail truck somewhere in Gaithersburg, lol.

I spilled an IPA on a Quesada. I'm thinking that's kind of the same thing...

I've been itchin' to try these out, and had my phone in hand to order two of the samplers so that my smoking buddy and I could try all five pairings together; Nathan offered to buy the beers if I provided the cigars... maybe two cigars per Friday, until we work through them.  But I paused and remembered, the regional D.E. rep lives here in Milw., so I contacted him.  He doesn't carry them for the local BnM's, but is going to pick some up and hopefully will pass some freebies our way.  I like the idea behind the Smoking Monk line-up, but still have the sneaking feeling that it's partly marketing hype; hopefully, I'll be proved wrong.

So. Had the Triple Belgian. Drank water with it. It was quite tasty. I can see how there are thoughts of infusion on these. Almost seems unnatural flavor at times. But quite enjoyable. :) can't wait to try the others. :)
