My box came with the cello too. I smoked one ROTT but it just didn't taste the same (humidity reasons obviously). Would it be better to take off the cello and leave them resting for a while in order for them to be properly humidified?
As long as they are resting in a humidor with good RH, they should be fine in the cello.
The humi is at 68 most of the time. They have been in there for about 2 weeks now and they still feel a little soft. I guess I'll let the rest longer. Thanks for the input BigT.
They box the Puro's in cello now? Kinda weakens the effect...I liked the naked look.
Agreed. However, it does make them easier to store, knowing that it's not gonna make every stick in your humi spicy...
I got mine still in the box. I love the look of the naked sticks with a shaggy foot surrounded by extra tobacco...that was honestly one thing that made me buy the box rather than a couple singles, as silly as that may be.
I prefer my cigars to be packaged in cello, as they are less prone to wrapper damage when protected by cello. Cello also doesn't really have any effect on aging or anything... so I always keep it on. Hell, I have even put cello on cigars that didn't initially come packaged in it (Padron Family Reserves, Behikes, etc.) just to keep them protected when moving when around in the humi.
Thank you sir! PM me if you have any questions or have any cigars you want to try and we can arrange something! I just got the cooler on Tuesday, spend 1 day washing it and 2 days with baking soda to clear out the scent. It just seems to be more practical than 4 desktop humis(over $100). I got the 48qt cooler for $19, 8 cedar boxes from my B&M for free and am using about 6oz of gel beads($10-some mounted on top and some on the bottom), and a digi hypro mounted on the top. I only keep 1 of each smoke in my Versailles humi and took apart my glasstop to put in the bottom of my humi. I have room for 3-4 more cedar boxes and the entire room of my glasstop which currently is housing my 1844 #50 box.
Very nice stash. I had that same cooler for my first coolerdor.
Thank You. This was the best monetary choice for me at the moment until the warden goes along with it more. Eventually I want a cabinet, but that wont be for 3-4years when I move into a house.
These are old, but boy was it fun getting them and smoking them. These are what I had when I was in Germany. Had a great time learning about this hobby when I was there.
Rcy I had to put a new screen protector on my phone. Thats a serious collection.
Thanks Cooch36, I still have about 60% of it. These were the cigars I had when I was in Germany.I feel honored hearing that from you. Your collection is awesome.

No kidding! Those Dirty Rats and Flying Pigs gave me an insta-rection. LOL! Not to mention the bagillion other cigars that I'd probably kill for! (I saw probably, because it makes me feel less bad than what I would actually do to get them)... AMAZING COLLECTION RICK!!!
Posted this a couple weeks ago, and thought it would be better suited in the 'cigar porn' thread. What I didn't know was how far I would have to dig to find this thread, lol.
I needed a break from homework, so I thought I might organize my sticks and put all of my ISOM in one humi. Here it is:
