I have 2 of the same digital Hygrometers. I salt tested both of them and they both were at 74%. I put them both into my desk top humidor while I am setting up my mini-fridge and one reads 65% and the other reads 71%. I have salt tested them together 2 times now and they read fine when tested but when I put them back into humidor they read 6% dif again. Any ideas on this one. They are right next to eachother so it shouldnt be a dif inside the humidor but I am stumped.

Total shot in the dark, but maybe there's something inside the hygro? Maybe try blowing into the hole (with a cloth over-top so your spit doesn't get blown in)? It used to work on old Nintendo/SNES cartridges

are you removing the battery before salt testing? If not, I'd try that. Take the battery out of each to reset to factory settings before salt testing.
