Well, I figured it's time to introduce myself seeing as i have been lurking for quite a while. I am in the Army, have been for almost 14 years. I am an Infantryman currently assigned to 3rd ID at Ft. Stewart. I have 3 deployments to Iraq and I am currently on assignment for recruiting duty. No, I did not volunteer for recruiting. I just graduated from recruiting school on Friday and will be assigned to the Atlanta battalion.
I have learned a lot from everyone here and just want to say thanks to those of you who have shared your knowledge.

Welcome John! I spent a year sorta-kinda under 3rd ID, 3rd Brigade's command in 2005 in Baghdad. Fun times.

My question is if you are that close to Atlanta do you realize how lucky you are and are you a Sevendust fan. Since that is their hometown you lucky bastards get to see them all the time.0
