Hmmmm... There's so many V.C. Andrews books out there... I'ma say "Flowers in the Attic"

I have wanted to read that one, but no Kas, it's not Koontz this time.

Ok then, time for a clue. The author of this novel died in 2001 and is well known for his thriller novels, several of which have been made into movies.

Iam gonna geuss Robert Ludlum and the book is The Prometheus Deception
