Ok so I followed the instruction on my new humi-care humidifier. I soaked it in distilled water. I left it in for a little bit longer than 4 hours( the instructions said 4 hours) and it came apart. I picked up as many saturated beads and put the humidifier back together. not all the beads fit so i threw them out.

Will this problem effect my humidor?

It shouldn't. You didn't get any on your cigars, did you?

I haven't even taken my cigars out of the case they were sent in. I'm not puting them in until my humidor is set up. So my humidor is safe?

If it's one of those big blue rectangular ones they tend to over humidify anyway, so you might even be better off.

I think the humidor will be just fine...you've probably already done it, but just make sure and wipe up any residue that might have gotten on the wood.
