1 less than I did this morning. I'm not a collector, just a smoker. I have about 50 at any given time. And I'll smoke all of them within the next few months, resupplying as I go.
I never count them.
It seems that I can go from having a few hundred to 20 in a matter of days. Or visa versa.
And I blame this forum for that.
I never used to participate in other forum activities. I saw guys get blasted on other forums for a trade they made with someone that wasn't "up to snuff". Or crap like that.
So I have a tendency to stay away from trades and passes.
It's amazing how this forum has changed that mindset a bit for me.
I would say I try and maintain at least 100 cigars. That way, when I see someone who I think needs to try something I have (like cameroons), then it allows me to send them. LOL!
Successfully diminished a serious humidor overflow at yesterday's motorcycle club event, so prolly closer to capacity now, which is a hundred. It is a struggle. Seems like every time I try to get an accurate count I get side tracked admiring and forget what I was there for.
I don't keep track of what I have, it would be too hard with how quick they enter and leave, lol. But I do have a pretty good memory so I remember what's there, just not how much.
Well, this thread inspired me to actually catalog what I have this weekend. So I used the same online humidor that Steve2010 used and at this moment (before I package up pelirrojo's lottery winnings and receive a sprintsale order, a MAW, and a PIF in the next couple days, lol) I have 161 cigars.
It was nice to be able to note where each cigar came from and when. Turns out, most of my stash came from you guys! Makes it hard to send out cigars, cause I want to smoke the cigars that were given to me. I might have to slow down with the games for a little while and build up some stock that I have purchased.
