How do I pinch the Chisel?

So...I must be retarded, but I've been thinking of smoking my first LFD Double Ligero chisel. I've heard that it can be pinched, but pinch where and how? Pinch the tip, sides of the tip, somewhere else? I really don't wanna have to cut off the entire chisel tip just to get a good draw. Seems like a waste of a lot of good tobacco.

sides, it should open up. I usually wet it with my mouth first.

Pinch the sides farthest apart... Just like my Grandma's old coin purse in which she kept Werther's Originals....

Thanks!! I bought one of these at Tobacco World during the SE herf... was kinda dissapointed they didn't have the Cameroon Cabinet but maybe I can find those at the next B&M I hit whenever I can afford that lol.
