fluctuating humidor

Greetings to all. I am a new cigar smoker and so far love it.  I bought a small humidor (25-50 sticks).  I calabrated the hygrometer and all was fine.  I am having a beast of a time getting a  consistant reading.  I have my humidifier in there with a water pillow and it stays strong and then slowly falls.  I added a moist paper towel and it jumped to 80.  I dont think it is a seal issue but I am open to suggestiosn.

    Welcome to the forums, first and foremost.

    Is your hygrometer analog or digital? If it is analog, then you should consider moving to digital for the sake of accuracy and consistency. If it is digital, then I don't really know what to suggest.
