Almost 42 million Americans got food stamps. That is not taking into account all the other free food/meals paid for by taxpayers through dozens of other Govt programs. Somehow I have to think there is a significant amount of waste, abuse, and fraud in this. On 2nd thought, I know there is, because the Federal Govt is administering it.
