beautiful stick, but man made me green.lol. loved the flavors for 1st qtr then from 1/4 to 1/2 it got me. think ill try again after a large meal. we had a lighter pasta meal prior
It's a very rich stick. I love the flavor and aroma of this one. I actually bought a box of the matatans after only trying one. I was hoping that by doing so I'd be able to put some age on a few, but at the rate I'm going through them it doesn't look likely.

This didnt turn me green, but I do agree there is about 1/3 of this stick where it is a powerhouse upfront and then it settles down!

i cant keep em in my humi either. i have an air bender chisel that im looking to age but every time i open the humidor to check the RH or look for a smoke i hear it call out too me from under all those other sticks.

.... smoke me !! smoke me !! There they go again..
I would say the Double Ligero line or the Litto Gomez Diez. I would also lean toward the chisel vitolas. The larger sticks seem mellower to me like the DL700 and DL660

I picked up a box of the Maestro's and every time I reach in the humi I pull one out. Luckily for me I pull out a few others and I havent burned through too many of the AB's - Yet! I will definately get at least a year on a few of them!
I also have 1 LFD AB Chisel - Yes Kuzi, I agree with you, I though I was going crazy! A talking cigar WTF! but yup you just confimed it, I am hearing this cigar talk to me!
On a side note Im about to post a rant on another thread!
I'm in the same boat as kooz on this one, these have a very short life span in my humi, superb smoke. I actually found one the other day i forgot about for about 8 months....damn it was fantastic!....if you can manage to get a box, lock it up and throw away the key, youre in for a treat!
LFD puts out great stuff. I wasn't too fond of the air bender but it is pretty decent. The strongest stick? probably the chisel maddy. I haven't had the chisel natural, I may need too.
Just got a 5er of the Matatan in today... I haven't had this yet and am pretty excited to fire one up... I may light one up tomorrow
So far, this is my favorite size in the line. I have a pair of Chisels I picked up today though, so we'll see how they smoke. I wish they would do the Air Bender in the Chiselito size...
