For those of us who were fortunate enough to have participated in the forum blend we got a first hand example of how much flavor the wrapper contributes. Both the forum blend cigars were the same size, same filler and same binder but one had a sumatra wrapper and one had a maduro and the difference in flavor was night and day. Huge difference in taste just because of the wrapper, it was amazing. Ever since then I've paid a lot more attention to what wrapper I'm smoking and what the ring gauge is.
