Hey Hey!

I thought I would finally post after reading these fourms for the past two months. I have been smoking cigars for about a year now which my business partner got me into. I smoke about twice to three times a month and I find myself to be more of a collector then anything else.  Over the last year, I have turn many of my friends into cigar lovers. Since I am still learning what I like, (and I notice I enjoy different tastes when Im drinking) I talk(and read) to a lot people about their likes and dislikes to understand more about cigar's.

I enjoy Romeo y Julieta casino III when smoking with a group people(since I'm giving them out to it's nicer on the pocket book.), to the Gurkha line( I love the Titan's and the beast!) when it's I or with a friend.

One question I have is there some good mild ones out there like the Romeo y Juliteta that I can pick up as a "give" out cigar?

Thanks!

If you are looking for a mild cigar with a great taste, I highly recommend a Macanduo Maduro. Macanduos are generally mild, except for the Macanudo Robust. The Maduro was my first cigar with a Maduro wrapper, and ever since I have had at least 1 of these cigars in my humidor at all times. I have had many other Maduro wrapper cigars, but the Macanduo was one of my all time favorite cigars. Hope this helps!

A pretty good mild cigar thats easy on the pocket, the CCOM blue label house blend is mild and quite cheap. Plus its got great flavor and draw and all the likes. If your looking for something a little more fancy but still not quite expensive, CAO makes a great mild-medium cigar called the CAO Gold and that was one of my first few cigars, my first 90+ rated cigar, and its still my favorite mild cigar. Its extremely smooth, creamy, nutty, and a little toasty. Very nice cigar, and a box can be had at about 70-100 dollars depending on where you look. Send me a PM and I'll let you know where it can be boughten for about 67 bucks for a box of robustos.. If you got any more questions let me know, I'd be glad to help! Enjoy the cigars and welcome to ccom!

Is the name a tribute to the band, or the political family ? I like to suggest 5 Vegas Classic to new smokers and as a pass out cigar.. Mild, tasty, a quality cigar for a low price.. If you try them I am sure you would agree. Some people have trouble finding them in stores, but they are available from many on line retailers.

Agreed on the medium part, I think mild to medium cigars are ok for handouts, and since only the Serie O borders on the fuller side of medium, they are pretty safe bets for new/non cigar smokers I think.

Serie O is definitely in the medium-full range. Gold is more mild-medium. Serie G is definitely a medium. Or at least thats what my body tells me... haha. But I would highly suggest you try a serie o. Or anything Oliva like someone else stated earlier. They make some of the best cigars I've tried, and their really easy on the pocket book. Even the serie V, rated 94, can be had for about 6-10 bucks. The serie O at about 5 and serie g 4-5. It all depends on what you like. Oh, and if you can manage, the special s, now discontinued, is simply amazing. So smooth and great flavor. Aged in cedar for 5 years before you get to smoke it! Now thaaats quality! If you want a decent cigar, one thats easy on the pocket book that you can hand out to friends, a house blend is perfect. then id say the cao gold or an oliva.

Thanks for all your input on mild hand me out's! My user name is from the band(grew up listening to them) and what do you guys/girls think about the one day deal Vegas 5 today. Would those be good for hand out's or even a good every day smoke for myself?

Man you are crazy! haha. Also, like someone else stated, and I can't believe I left it out, the Nub Conneticut. A great mild cigar, the 354 is a great size for a moderately short delicious smoke. Good luck with that sampler! I've heard great things about the 5 vegas'.
