The only cigar I've had this year that was extremely good and also might be one that not everyone has tried would have to be the La Flor Dominicana Cameroon Cabinet. This is a blend that is somewhat limited in its production because it is made at a small factory and the attention to quality is superb, therefor it is at times hard to come by and that might make it a cigar that flies a bit below the radar. It is very good however, and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a good cigar at a fairly reasonable price.
My best of the year without a doubt is the Gurkha Shaggy Natural Torpedo! I'm sure there are others that I really liked but this particular cigar stands out infront of all others for me!
Urby, I have a few of those CI purples sitting, first one I had wasn't that great, kept burning out, probably do to the cold. And those GOF's are pretty good.
Ashton ESG (Estate sun grown) Robusto 21-----Fuente Anejo #77 (Shark)----Fuente #55 Torpedo----Java Toro----The Ashton ESG Robusto was great although I had a Ashton ESG churchill #20 that I could take or leave.
Ahem...Jose you mean? Jorge might be the go-to guy now, but there would be no Padron without Jose working his tail off to create a cigar company true to his heritage. Oh, and if you couldn't tell, I am a bit of a Padron fan.
