I understand his plight. My wife is the same way, and I don't really want for much. When I say I want something I better really want it, because that is what I am getting for the next occasion, period!
I have ask dirctely when I really want something! I wanted a new intake for the Harley and even e-mailed her the link saying..."Buy this for Christmas for me!!"
Then I have put together a list too. Before this deployment, I put together a list of more Harley stuff that I'd like. I don't know what she got but I'm sure she got some of it...if not all of it. I know they want to get me things cause I missed Christmas this year, so having the list makes it easier.
Also for Father's day I told her what I wanted/needed...a new electric razor. This deployment killed mine. I really need it and it makes it easier for my kids. I'll complain about mine in front of the heathens so when Mom suggest it to them, they'll remember and hook it up!!

My wife isn't even that intuitive, lol. I can say I want something repeatedly, but unless I say I want ____ for _____ holiday, it just doesn't sink in. Its all good though, I think she picked up on the wishlist thing, and I put so much stuff on there I've already forgotten over half of what's on there, lol.
