Steve Smith is talented. I think the Cards rookie CB Rogers-Cromartie is going to hold him down. He's gotten past the rookie mistake of giving up the big plays and he's secoming a playmaker himself. I've never theen the DB that could stop Fitzgerald. If the cards can stop Carolina the way they stopped Atlanta last week, they're a superbowl caliber team. I'm not counting on it, but just imagine the Cardinals offense against the steelers defense. Fitzgerald running for his life with Troy Polamalu on his heels.

Actually my wife's whole fam is Steelers fan. So yes the Steelers are my 2nd favorite team, a distant 2nd(you'll never catch me wearing any Steelers gear) but as long as they aren't playing the Skins I root for them.

Oh yeah... and the Chargers are the best 8-8 team ever. They had some ridiculous misfortune back-to-back-to-back. They were better than their record. Not much better, mind you. I still believe in the premise that great teams find ways to win those games.
