This 6 1/8×58 cigar features a thin dark brown wrapper with an oily, soft, even dense pack with a slight spongy give, small veins, tight seams, a triple cap and rich soft tobacco aroma. First light reveals a loose draw with plenty of airy smoke output, giving a medium body flavor of a rich oily tobacco and pepper kick on the long finish. The first third shows medium-full body of a creamy textured slightly sweet leather and wood combo, holding an oily wood mouthfeel over through the finish. Ash is very bright white, draw is still loose but the burn is very good. 30 minutes in at the 1/2 way point flavors have slowly transitioned just a bit, the leather turning in to a general deep earth, and it holds through the finish. The ash held on for the 1st third, falling off in a solid chunk. Ending at 1:15 in, the last third showed no further changes, only gong a bit wonky on the burn.
