On a recent trip outside the US, I smoked several Hoya de Monterrey (Habana) Palmas Extra's of the hand rolled variety (not plastic wrapped, machine rolled). They were very smooth, with a good draw, sweet and creamy along with some nutty undertones with no aftertaste. They were a really great cigar for the money (US$85-95 a box) and now back in the states, I naturally can't get them. That being said, has anyone tried these and can you offer up a similar US cigar?
Thanks in advance

but from your description,(smooth, with a good draw, sweet and creamy along with some nutty undertones with no aftertaste) the cigar that i would say to give a shot would be the punch gran puro. there is an aftertaste but the rest of the cigar is close to what you described.
