Should the Colts trade Manning?

I found it interesting this morning while watching Mike and Mike, the question was brought up, should the Colts, say they get the #1 pick this year, draft and rebuild the team around Andrew Luck by trading Manning? I'm sure it's a little too soon to know how Peyton's nerves are going to react to his latest surgery, but I'd say he has several more productive years left. I personally want Miami to get Luck, and to think the Colts would consider this as an option crazy. At the least, let Luck back up Manning for a couple of years like Rodgers did Farve. Anyhow found this an interesting topic, and was wondering what everyone else thought about it.....

Pick him up as a backup... sure. But not trade Manning away, that would be franchise suicide.

Now as a fan of a team they play twice a year I hope they trade Manning and bring sign Jamarcus Russell to a 200 million dollar contract hahahahaha

Manning's done. Didn't have any mobility before he has his neck fused? Hello? Over! They'll take Luck, drop Manning (no one else would want him), and take their losses.

THE ONLY flip side I can see....Is that Manning can take the beating for a few years, and Luck can learn from the best in the game. Unlike Favre, Manning could mentor someone and he would be great at doing so. Sorry to say, but anyone who knows what was going on in Green Bay,. there was very little mentoring or learning frm Favre going on by Rodgers. Favre never liked the idea and ever tried to help any young QB who he feared may take his spot. Though Rodgers did learn alot from Farve I must say-------how NOT to throw ints, how NOT to lose the big game, ect.
