Driving me and a buddy to work when all of a sudden the driver's side axel on my Passat decides to take a ***. Now I have to arrange a tow to the repair shop and see how much damage it did. Merry Christmas!

    Oooo, that sucks!! Sorry to hear it! I seen that happen about 2 months ago, except the tire w/rim blew off also and hit a passing car!

    Thanks guys. It really could have been alot worse. Wasn't an expense I was planning on, but better me than one of my friends with family to take care of.

    I got lucky today.. Axel didn't break.. Frackin bolts had backed out of it. Was able to get the bolts from Audi and had me running for $250 . Mechanic was a decent and genuine person. I'll do my best to make sure the folks I know hear about him. Right after that I go to check my mailbox at work and find 2 packages from brothers here. I was really having a hard time with Christmas this year, but today changed it.
