Cigar Accessory Rotation

Hello All... If you are anything like me collecting cigar accessories is a hobby all its own. I know if I take out all my lighters cutters punchesn ashtrays etc. I could cover my coffee table. A while back I was sitting back and enjoying a Liga Privada Unico Dirty Rat and realized that before I toasted the foot of this little beauty that there is quite a ritual I go through before I even start to smoke. Maybe when it comes to cigars I'm a little OCD but depending on what im smoking I may change my ashtray cutter and lighter just to set the tone pre smoke. So I thought this might be a fun topic. Do you rotate your accessories like me and what kind of accessories do you use and for what cigar. Oh and pictures are a great way to show off your tools. Have fun with this discussion cause sometimes it helps to justify the need or use for all of our cigar toys.

I do rotate mine through. I use different lighters, cutters, etc randomly. I don't want any of them to feel neglected lol

Honestly I would if I had enough resources lol.... I sink all my "spendable" cash on shipping or sticks... and considering my tuna-fish budget... not much lol. I simply use my Xi cutter or my Estes Park made bullet casing punch, and for a light my Xikar Stratosphere lighter (have to send it to Xikar, just crapped out on me?!?!)

I'm pretty simple got 1 simple double guillotine cutter, 1 punch and 1 Ronson jet lighter.

I only use my Xikar multi-tool for a cutter. I am very happy with it! For lighters I bounce between two. Just a matter of when I'm smoking on which one I use. For ash trays, that depends on where I'm smoking. Out back I have some nice crystal ashtrays my wife bought for me. In the garage, I have a solo stinky ash try. I think its all about location for me but then again, I leave cigar paraphernalia where ever I go. LOL!

i have a handfull of lighter and cutters and a few ashtrays. i rotate not by choice but because im very forgetful and mis place them around the house or leave them in the car or in my locker at the b&m.

there is only one cutter in need. Xi2.
i have only two or three lighters.
but i tend to stick with one fore a while.

Yea, I know, It's ugly, and it's big, but the damned thing is more reliable than any of the expensive lighters I've ever found, and you can get replacement butane cartriges pretty cheap (they are re-fillable, but they do eventually wear out).

I used to use different cutters all the time until I bought my Xikar Xi2. I haven't felt the need to try anything else since then.

I change my accessories for the situation.
Friends house for many drinks and cigars = Crappy cutter and old torch lighter
Going to the porch for some quality ME time = Palio cutter with my glass ashtray and Xikar lighter

Funny story about the Xikar, my cousin burned a hole in his hand (literally a pea sized blister on his palm) for the Xikar lights in a weird way so he ended up holding it upside down and had it burning him for like 15 seconds... ouch
