The right idea, poor execution. (A Secret Santa Story)

So as many of you may or may not know, I am a Logistic Specialist currently deployed onboard the USS Bataan.
Supply is a big family, so we ran a secret Santa drawing at the beginning of December, and just exchanged presents and had a little party.

Now most everyone knows that I enjoy cigars, and if they dont, the desktop humidor I keep is enough of an indication.
So they call my name, and I go up and unwrap my present.

A 50 pack of Dutch Masters.... I hope the smile on my face didn't betray how awkward I felt.

Well, they say it's the thought that counts, so I'd suggest thinking about how nicely they will do as compost for a home garden.

I had the exact opposite experiance. My Sister -In-Law (whom I love dearly) always gets me something I need to re-gift or basically never use. Thsi year she comes up with two Padron 1926 in a Humidor bag yet! I was blown away!
