Padilla '68 Lancero

While I agree, particularly with the '68 Lancero, that the smaller ring gauge vitola allows the flavor derived from the wrapper to be more noticeable, is there any chance that this stick uses cut filler? I ask because the one I'm presently burning doesn't hold an ash for sour owl poop. About every half inch I have to brush ashes off my lap. The flavor's quite good but this ash thing is annoying.

Anyone know about the filler?

The ones I have did feel a bit spongy and bumpy but I don't recall if the other lanceros I have had kept much ash.
