Fishing photos? Let me see.....where do I start?

Oh, I got it! I'll start with the biggest and work my way down.

This little guy eats your catch for breakfast! (Northern Pike)

    image

Sometimes I get a good catch of Speckle Trout

    image

    Or Pickerel (Walleye)

And the wife likes to fish and outcatch me!

I love our little fishing spots up here in the north. They aren't all monsters, but the fishing is good and many times I get to watch moose, deer, mink, otters and other wildlife walk the shorline or feed while I'm fishing. Great way to pass the time!

Haha, sorry, could have been a little more specific. We fished with Viking Outposts(http://www.vikingoutposts.ca/) from Red Lake, Ontario...we flew north about 45-50min to Lake Rheaume and portaged to Lake Orono twice in the 8days we were there.

I have a brother-in-law who works in Red Lake. Beautiful area. I thought the photos looked like Northern Ontario. I am pretty far east of there, but still in Ontario. Not much bass fishing up here, but Northern Pike, Walleye and Speckle or lake trout can be found in so many lakes around here.

Stripers are one of my favorite species to fish for. My record so far is thirty pounds exactly. Anyone caught one bigger? I'll have to scan and post A photo of this one.

Other than cigars, bass fishing is another one of my passions. I'll have to scan some, or better yet take new pics to post.

I hope so. I try to get all the kids and grand kids into outdoor recreation as early as possible. I think it balances the newer lifestyle that keeps them inside and on electronics.
