Smoked one today that I was so graciously given----and liked it quite a bit, though I couldve dried it for a time. Neverthess, it was good------but my questions are two fold
1. I found it flavorful and solidly medium bodied, not the full it was advertised----anyone else?
2. I had eaten something wierd shortly before I smoked, which may have effected it, but I thought this tasted VERY similar to a Hammer and Sickle, and quite a bit like (the original) orange label Bahia from years back------------------Any opinions?

The strength on those varies considerably depending on the vitola. Which size was it? Considerably might be too strong a word. It's definitely noticeable.

Well, both Hammer and Sickle and Zino are from the same maker, so similarity there makes sense IMO.

Hammer and Sickle maker is Victor Vitale who is a a large cigar retailer. His most recent popular cigar is Tortuga LE 2011. Zino Z class is exclusively made by Davidoff. However, Victor is a retail partner of Davidoff.

Victor Vitale OWNS the H+S brand, but the cigars themselves are blended by Henke Kelner, and produced at TABADOM, the same as Davidoff/Zino/etc.rzaman:
