I actually saw one on Food network a few weeks ago I wanted to try. Maple Dijon bacon. Lady took thick cut bacon, cooked it in the oven at 400 until it just started to crisp, then took it out and brushed it with a maple syrup/dijon mustard mix, and baked it again until crisp. Looked GOOD!!! Bacon is the cure for whatever ails ya. SWINE IS FINE!!!
