Getting a 500ct cabinet humidor!

Whoo hoo!!! I am so happy I could do a pee pee dance!!
I got the green light from the wife to buy an Oxford 500-600ct cabinet humidor.
I found a really sweet deal on one and she said yes!

So tomorrow, I put the order in and wait. Something I'm not so good at. LOL!
I have to wait til tomorrow to order it, cause I called too late today. East coasters quit early. ROFL!!

I won't even come close to filling it, but it will be nice to have the room, should that ever happen. LOL!

I sold my hydraulic press, engine hoist, air compressor and solvent tank, so we had some money that we wouldn't normally have. I'm kind of bummed about having to sell that stuff, but I'm stoked about the humidor.

I emailed Andy about seeing if they could come up with something, cause I really would have liked to make the purchase from them and he wasn't able to come up with something, which is understandable and commented that if it is decent quality, it's a pretty darn sweet deal. So I feel pretty good about it.

I'm pretty certain it will look pretty sparse when I do get it seasoned and all, but in time it will probably be a pretty reasonable purchase. I'll be able to organize it the way I want it and not have a chaotic mess and have to dig to find anything.

We stopped at the local cigar store. I wanted to get some humi solution to send out to marine.
We got to talking about the humidor I am gonna get and he asked if I ordered it yet. Nope. Not til Monday. He said good and said he was getting a 1000ct humidor for $250 when he makes his order, if the sale is still on by the time he orders all his cigars. So now, I am back to waiting. If the promotion goes off, I can still buy the 500 ct, but the 1000 ct sure looks sweet.

He thinks he will be making the order at the end of the month.

If it doesn't need to be said, the cigar shop owner is a good friend of mine.
So now, I sit and wait for this........
