Any one else as excited about the JdN Cuenca y Blanco as i am ?
Dr. Alejandro Martínez Cuenca and Sr. José Blanco have been working on this cigar for quite some time. if im not mistaken this will be the first cigar JdN has put out that isnt a Nicaraguan Puro. according to the press release:
"This unique recipe is handmade with aged filler tobaccos including Habano Seed lead from Nicaragua’s Estelí Valley and the volcanic isle of Omtempe, Piloto Cubano from the La Canela region of the Dominican Republic and an aromatic visa from Peru’s famed Tarapoto region. The cigar is expertly finished in a beautiful Grade 1 Ecuador Habano wrapper. "
Cuenca y Blanco will be available in 5 sizes: Corona Real 5 ½ x 46, Robusto Deluxe 5 ¼ x 50, Toro Supremo 6 x 54, Torpedo Especial 6 ¼ x 52 and Lonsdale Club 6 ½ x 44.
i know what one im going for...

These are the two testing blends (JBO 23rd and JBO 30th) during the development stage of the final blend. Jose created 32 different blends before he finalized the cigar. I smoked six different blends before JBO 33. It was a great experience to see how a cigar blend develop with a lot of hard work and dedication.
