I haven't done that but I did wire A small block Chevy in the wrong direction once and couldn't for the life of me figure it out for over two hours. This happened after building my brother, Dwayne A sup-ed up 305 for his Blazer.

I purchased an Impala from my brother-in-law that needed the drivers side fender, mirro and door replaced and painted. It was a great deal for a daily driver and couldnt say no. Paid $600 parts and paint and it looked great. A month later I was backing out of my driveway and dragged the drivers side mirror and fender down a wooden fence post. Dent is still there today.....
