I have 5 ball python morphs and 2 corn snakes. If I found a stray snake my would will come running and catch it. She has no fear of snakes if if they are poisonous or venomous. She brought me a Copperhead one day just to show me what she caught. I used to be terrified of snakes. Once I started learning about them the fear went away.

Had a 6 ft diamond back show up inside my pool screen in Florida, bout stepped on it. No thank you. I am cool with snakes as long as they are in their domain, come in mine, chop chop!.
